Spiced Apple Pie Porridge
This spiced apple pie porridge tastes like Christmas, perfect to enjoy during the period leading to the festivities

- 70 g rolled oats
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 apples peeled and cubed
- 40 g sultanas
- 300 ml almond milk unsweetened
- 50 ml water
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- pinch grated nutmeg
Put the apples in a medium saucepan with the honey, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg over a low heat.
Cover and cook for about 5mn, until the apples are soft. Add a splash of water if it looks dry.
Once the apples are soft, set aside 1/2 of the mixture, and mash the rest in the pan using a wooden spoon.
Add the oats, milk, water and sultanas to the apples, and cook for 7-8mn, or until the oats reach your desired consistency.
Divide between two bowls, top with the remaining apples and more sultanas, and why not a dollop of coconut yoghurt.
